COMMISSION WORK
Fran does most of the design work and also commission work requested. Since we do have a show schedule most of the year. Orders are taken, however MAY TAKE ONLY A FEW WEEKS TO SEVERAL MONTHS TO COMPLETE.
My policy at this time is to review with you on your request(s). AND, IF YOU AGREE TO ACCEPT THE ABOVE STATEMENT, I will take your order.
Basic outline:
First we meet and discuss what it is you want. I will ask you to "doodle" or sketch your ideas. And or perhaps clip out pictures of something you like. Using these I will take your stones if you have them, or will use ours and draft my own design drafts. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND that I am an artist, and will NOT copy another artist's work.
When design draft is finished I will email you a copy with the specifications for your approval along with an estimate of costs. At this time any and all changes are to be made, and the design finalized, approved and signed with your approval and mailed back to me. Usually, I will ask for NON-refundable deposit at this time. And, I will attempt to give you an estimated time line of completion. All my work is hand fabricated, so there will be minor variations. Note that handcrafted jewelry will include subtle differences, even when a design is reproduced. Please allow for these slight variations, as no two pieces of handmade jewelry can be identical.
