Dec. 2013 Front Yard with Charlie and Lucie

Early December 2013 an Alaskan cold front dipped down into Northern California. This was our front yard...6 inches of the cold white snow over night.
Makes for a beautiful photo...also deep creeping cold. Due to the low temperatures for the next week or so, it stayed around for over 2 weeks in shaded patches. My bones really felt that cold and it was hard for me to get around.

Madagascar Garnet & Jasper

    As I am writing this, Jerry is recuperating from foot surgery. He had been putting off the needed surgery for several months. Mainly because I need help most of the time to get around now. And of course to finish up the last of the 2013 holiday show festivals. His doctor said today that all is progressing fine. Should be another 2 weeks before he can walk with his Christmas present from his doctor. A pretty black boot with Velcro straps.

   For those of you who are on my mailing list. This Blog will be somewhat of a repeat. The main reason for this writing is greet everyone with a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR .
